Hope you and your family were able to celebrate Canada Day and feel lucky to live in one of the best countries in the world! While Canada is not perfect, it is a wonderful country that welcomes new immigrants and allows people to practice their religion and culture in a warm and accepting environment. Whenever and wherever I have travelled, I have found that everyone welcomes Canadians with respect and open arms!

I am happy to share the latest details for the The Pleasant View Real Estate Market Report and the details about the Greater Toronto Area.

June saw 6,770 homes sold through Toronto real estate board members, an increase of 9.4 % compared to June 2025 and 17, 282 new listings entered into the market, down by 12.9 % year-over-year.

The Toronto real estate market conditions continue to improve month by month, with the number of sales increasing and the listing inventory shrinking month by month. The real estate market in Toronto seems to be well on its way to turning the corner towards a recovery.

I believe that as we enter the second half of the year, pent-up demand will encourage more buyers to re-enter the market, resulting in increased transactions and greater competition for well-priced homes.

Now, all of the information above is based on averages, which gives one a general sense of the market, but the reality is that there are many real estate markets based on location, price, type of home, square footage, just to name a few. A 400 sq ft condominium is less desirable and is harder to sell compared to a well-priced detached or semi-detached home.

What that also means is that you need a knowledgeable realtor like myself to answer your questions and help you through the “averages” to help you with that special purchase that’s available today.
